Alps

here is the first of many pictures from my trip to europe that i was talking about last week.  this is a picture taken in a town near Wilderswil, Switzerland.

we were unpacking our things into our hotel (white building with red roof just right of center) rooms and saw a giant ball being rolled down a hill in the distance.  four of us decided immediately that we needed to investigate.

we started walking towards this hill, not realizing how far it was (about 2 miles, in case you’re curious), and were exhausted by the time we finally arrived.  it turns out the hill was being used for zorbing.

“what is zorbing,” you say?  have a look.

there’s a video of me, partaking in the fun.  one of those days you’ll never forget.
